Ambassadress of GOD's WILL

2 Corinthians 5:20

King James Version

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,

as though God did beseech you by us:

we pray you in Christ's stead,

be ye reconciled to God.

Funny, funny SPIRIT.

You know that phrase, "ambassador of goodwill"?

Well, SPIRIT planted an idea in my mind this morning.

He used the words, "ambassadress of GOD's WILL".

And I realized that's what I had been doing all along.

Talking about GOD's will.

To anyone, or everyone, who would listen.

Reminding everyone to pray to know GOD's will.

Because that's man's sticking point -- GOD's will.

It's difficult for many to bend to GOD's will.

Many don't even know what GOD's will is.

But the born again knows.

Scripture told us.

The GOD's WILL idea was cemented completely, and forever, when SPIRIT and I wrote, "WHAT makes GOD answer a PRAYER?" nearly two years ago.

SPIRIT led me to this exact verse, which revealed EVERYTHING I needed to know:

1 John 5:14

King James Version

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,

that, if we ask any thing according to his will,

he heareth us:

It's always about GOD's will.

Man can demand things, but if it's not GOD's will, he won't receive what he wants.

That's probably the hardest lesson man needs to know.

And that's when he gets all angry at GOD.

Or doubts He even exists.

GOD knows what He's doing.

Who are we to question His ways?

It's very sweet, and yet humbling, to know we need that.

And in this materialistic, Satanic, and demanding world, you have to be strong, sure, and steady, reminding everyone to know GOD's will.

Another set of verses actually complement that verse.

JESUS declared:

Matthew 6:7-8

King James Version

7 But when ye pray,

use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do:

for they think that they shall be heard

for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them:

for your Father knoweth

what things ye have need of,

before ye ask him.

GOD knows what we need.

He knows what we want.

We don't have to scream, holler, or shout.

We don't need to bug Him constantly.

GOD cannot be bullied.

Perish the thought, dears.

He knows what's good for us.

He predestined us for something.

And it's your job to find out what that is.

PRAY to know.

That's why, these days, when I pray for myself, or for others, I always just pray that "GOD's WILL be done".

I would have no idea what GOD's will is for you.

I cannot even begin to guess.

It's between you, and GOD alone.

It's a SACRED thing between you, and GOD.

No one must interfere with His plans for you.

Only GOD knows the circumstances of our life.

He knows EVERYTHING about you.

We must trust Him.

We must have faith.

We must believe in JESUS.

We must surrender our will completely to His.

We must listen to SPIRIT.

It's really pretty easy, once you belong to GOD.

You would not want to be without the LORD.

You will rely on His will, each and every moment.

You will delight in following His will.

And that pleases the LORD.

The world is the way it is today because man does not know GOD.

Or if he does, he doubts.

He questions GOD's will.

He doesn't have the grace to accept it.

Only by being born again, can we understand obedience.

And that pleases the LORD the most!

It's what JESUS taught us.

John 6:38

King James Version

38 For I came down from heaven,

not to do mine own will,

but the will of him that sent me.

So, that's my heart's song today.

Relishing the idea I am an "ambassadress of GOD's WILL".

Doing the work GOD predestined me to do.

Knowing I am on the right path.

Thank you, dear SPIRIT!

You sure know my heart!

HAPPY s.a.d.

Ecclesiastes 3:4

King James Version

4 A time to weep,

and a time to laugh;

a time to mourn,

and a time to dance;

Why "HAPPY s.a.d"?

Are we referring to SAD -- "seasonal affective disorder"?

Or perhaps, we meant something else?

For this article, "s.a.d." stands for "singers and dancers".

We look into some dancers from the "Golden Age" of Hollywood.

Who danced "happy", but actually had sad, troubled lives.

No matter the pain in their lives, they continued to perform.

Had they been born again, they would have lived differently.

Nevertheless, they left us a legacy of their dance, and music skills.

Which comes from GOD anyway.

Most surprising of all, was how Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth danced.

I knew Astaire was a superb dancer.

And I was familiar with the sultry Hayworth.

But their pairing was the most unusual, natural, and vibrant of all.

They looked like a couple of kids just playin' and dancin'.

Unlike other Astaire pairings, which were more formal.

Rita showed there was a happy "child" in her.

Which was fun, gay, free, and childlike.

You can see what I mean from these videos:

Rita Hayworth & Fred Astaire: So Near and Yet So Far

Fred Astaire, Rita Hayworth, Xavier Cugat, Bailando Nace El Amor (1942)

Other fun examples can be found with Charlie Chaplin:

Charlie Chaplin - dancing scene from The Count (1916)

Charlie Chaplin - Nightclub Scene (City Lights)

Let's not forget Gene Kelly's amazing performances:

Singin' in the Rain (Full Song/Dance - '52) - Gene Kelly - Musical Romantic Comedies - 1950s Movies

Singin' in the Rain | Good Mornin' | Warner Bros. Entertainment

Now, for some contemporary dance:

On Happy Feet's itchy feet:

Happy feet- Dance Daddy with your boy

Happy Feet - Dance with Mumble

Happy Feet (10/10) Movie CLIP - Dancing for the Aliens (2006) HD

If penguins can dance, so can galaxy defenders, and "aliens":

Will Smith - Men In Black (Video Version)

As born again, I appreciate dance and music differently.

This time, it's much more fun, and delightful.

All because GOD's SPIRIT is in me now.

He put a childlike spirit in me.

I have a "clown" in my heart.

That's the kind of dance class I'll "conduct".

Nothing formal, studied, or structured.

Nothing vain, or self-absorbed.

But creative, ingenious, and fun.

It's gotta be childlike.

Pure joy, and play.

That you don't even realize you're dancing.

And everyone's having a really great time.

Not thinking if your moves are right.

Or if you measure up.

Or if you're being watched.

Or seen.

No such thing in our dance "classes".

You move, as the SPIRIT of GOD moves you.

For it will always be the right move.

At the moment, it's my writing that dances.

All for GOD's GLORY.

As everything will be.

with all thine heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy might.

How do we love Thee?

Let us count the ways.

In Thee is goodness, and wisdom.

In Thee is love, peace, joy, and truth.

In Thee is magnificence.

And in us, is a simple, childlike heart.

Grateful for everything.

Let us, therefore, praise the LORD GOD:

Psalm 9:1-2

O thou most High.

King James Version

5 My soul shall be satisfied

as with marrow and fatness;

and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 Because thou hast been my help,

therefore in the shadow of thy wings

will I rejoice.

Psalm 71:8

bless his holy name.

Psalm 103:2-5

King James Version

and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;

who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;

who crowneth thee with lovingkindness

and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things;

so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 105:1-3

King James Version

105 O give thanks unto the Lord;

call upon his name:

make known his deeds among the people.

let the heart of them rejoice

that seek the Lord.

5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:

and thy glory above all the earth;

On REVITALIZING self

1 Corinthians 2:14

King James Version

14 But the natural man

receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:

for they are foolishness unto him:

neither can he know them,

because they are spiritually discerned.

Who has the most fun in this world?

Certainly those who serve CHRIST.

Our steps are sure.

Our goals are clear.

Our mission worthwhile.

Life and work become fruitful, and purposeful.

Work can only be fruitful, if your lord is GOD.

Not the foolish things of the world.

JESUS told us so:

Luke 16:15

King James Version

15 And he said unto them,

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men;

but God knoweth your hearts:

for that which is highly esteemed among men

is abomination in the sight of God.

If your work seems repetitive, you're probably bored.

If you drag yourself to work each morning, then it's time to rethink work.

If the little things fail to elicit a smile from you, you're definitely bored.

If you're a cranky old pot, then you need CHRIST.

Only through JESUS can you have a worthwhile life.

Bored, listless, lethargic?

You're ready for something new.

You need to be born again.

John 3:3-7

King James Version

3 Jesus answered and said unto him,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him,

How can a man be born when he is old?

can he enter the second time into his mother's womb,

and be born?

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

How else can you feel new, or renewed?

2 Corinthians 5:17

King James Version

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ,

he is a new creature:

old things are passed away;

behold,

all things are become new.

When GOD wants to expand your life and work, prepare for something wonderful.

GOD is certainly full of surprises.

Only a fool would not want to work with GOD.

How can you not want to?

You're leaning against the ROCK.

Psalm 18:2

King James Version

2 The Lord is my rock,

and my fortress,

and my deliverer;

my God,

my strength,

in whom I will trust;

my buckler,

and the horn of my salvation,

and my high tower.

Your foundation is sure.

Psalm 62:5-8

King James Version

5 My soul, wait thou only upon God;

for my expectation is from him.

6 He only is my rock and my salvation:

he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

7 In God is my salvation and my glory:

the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

8 Trust in him at all times; ye people,

pour out your heart before him:

God is a refuge for us. Selah.

JESUS wants us to be childlike with Him.

Matthew 18:3-5

King James Version

3 And said,

Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted,

and become as little children,

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself

as this little child,

the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive

one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Since I totally gave my heart to JESUS nearly four years ago, my life and work have greatly expanded.

It's not for money, but for GOD.

It's not for self, but for you.

It's not prestige, but for the GLORY of GOD.

As these blogs show.

There can be no more delightful work, than to work for GOD.

His SPIRIT will guide you ALL the time.

Your focus will always be on JESUS.

Only through JESUS can we serve other people well.

He will bring your life and work, where He will.

It will touch other's lives, according to GOD's will.

Without JESUS, we can't really do much.

Man thinks he can go about it his way.

Not so.

John 15:5

King James Version

5 I am the vine,

ye are the branches:

He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

for without me ye can do nothing.

Let our foundation, in life and work, be founded upon CHRIST alone:

The CHIEF Corner Stone

JESUS as the FOUNDATION of Our Life, Home, and Work

ROCK steady

On staying AFLOAT

John 3:5

King James Version

5 Jesus answered,

Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

How to stay afloat?

How to overcome challenges?

How to have peace?

SURRENDER to JESUS.

BELIEVE in JESUS.

TRUST JESUS.

That's how.

JESUS is the only reason for existence.

JESUS is the only reason to work.

JESUS is the only reason to live.

He gives us power to do so.

John 15:5

King James Version

5 I am the vine,

ye are the branches:

He that abideth in me, and I in him,

the same bringeth forth much fruit:

for without me ye can do nothing.

He is the bread of life.

The living waters.

He is our source for nourishment.

The world doesn't love us.

Why else the cut-throat competition?

Why else the non-stop struggle to keep afloat?

Why else the cruelty among men?

How to overcome suffering and inequality?

Believe in JESUS.

Know that He loves you.

Why else did He give His life for you?

He will keep you afloat, through all challenges.

Our suffering on earth, is temporary.

Romans 8:18

King James Version

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time

are not worthy to be compared

with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

JESUS has overcome the world, just so you know:

John 16:33

King James Version

33 These things I have spoken unto you,

that in me ye might have peace.

In the world ye shall have tribulation:

but be of good cheer;

I have overcome the world.

I dreamt about GOD once.

He showed up as "warm sea foam".

A soothing, warm sea foam.

And that was before He made me born again.

Now that I'm born again?

He led me to His Son.

He turned me to Scripture.

Now, I know past, present, and future.

My heart is at peace.

SPIRIT tells me everything I need to know.

He explains Scripture to me.

In a way I can understand easily.

He helps me piece the puzzle together.

Now, it's whole.

CALEB the CHEERFUL

Numbers 13:1-3

King James Version

13 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Send thou men,

that they may search the land of Canaan,

which I give unto the children of Israel:

of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man,

every one a ruler among them.

3 And Moses by the commandment of the Lord

sent them from the wilderness of Paran:

all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

In every group, in every congregation, there's always the sour one.

And the cheerful one.

We shall find two who pleased the LORD.

Following the LORD's command, Moses sent the 12 spies:

Numbers 13:17-20

King James Version

17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

18 And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.

Here was the fearful report of some:

Numbers 13:25-29

King James Version

25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

Cheerful Caleb saw things differently:

Numbers 13:30

King James Version

30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Still, the rest of the tribe leaders maintained:

Numbers 13:31-33

King James Version

31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

In view of that, the children of Israel became demoralized:

Numbers 14:1-5

King James Version

14 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.

2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!

3 And wherefore hath the Lord brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

But Joshua and Caleb believed in the land.

Best of all, they believed in the LORD.

Numbers 14:6-9

King James Version

6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.

9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

In response, the children of Israel prepared to stone them.

Numbers 14:10

King James Version

10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

GOD was mighty mad at the people's lack of faith.

Numbers 14:11-12

King James Version

11 And the Lord said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

12 I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

But Moses appeased the LORD.

Numbers 14:17-19

King James Version

17 And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,

18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

19 Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.

The LORD relented.

He would not destroy the children of Israel.

But He made a declaration:

Numbers 14:20-23

King James Version

20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:

21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.

22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

As for faithful Caleb, this is what GOD said:

Numbers 14:24

King James Version

24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

For the faithless ones, GOD said:

Numbers 14:26-29

King James Version

26 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

Only these people would be allowed to enter the promised land:

Numbers 14:30-31

King James Version

30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

The rest of the people?

GOD had much to say about them.

Numbers 14:32-35

King James Version

32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness.

33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

35 I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

Numbers 26:63-65

King James Version

63 These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.

65 For the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Moses also reminded the children of Gad about this episode:

Numbers 32:6-15

King James Version

6 And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?

7 And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the Lord hath given them?

8 Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.

9 For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the Lord had given them.

10 And the Lord'S anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,

11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.

13 And the Lord'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the Lord, was consumed.

14 And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the Lord toward Israel.

15 For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.

Because of that episode, only these people were allowed into Canaan, the promised land:

Numbers 34:16-29

King James Version

16 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

17 These are the names of the men which shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

18 And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land by inheritance.

19 And the names of the men are these: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

20 And of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.

21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.

22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

23 The prince of the children of Joseph, for the tribe of the children of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod.

24 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.

25 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Zebulun, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.

26 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Issachar, Paltiel the son of Azzan.

27 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.

28 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.

29 These are they whom the Lord commanded to divide the inheritance unto the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.

Let us be like Caleb.

Faithful.

Fruitful.

Cheerful.

Childlike.

Grateful.

Matthew 24:13

King James Version

13 But he that shall endure unto the end,

the same shall be saved.

Galatians 6:9

King James Version

9 And let us not be weary in well doing:

for in due season we shall reap,

if we faint not.

Philippians 4:13

King James Version

13 I can do all things

through Christ which strengtheneth me.
